Queen Shelby Preece

Shelby Preece, the 18 year old daughter of Christine Laney and Todd Preece, is your 2009 SNMSF Rodeo Queen. She is a freshman at NMSU and is pursuing a degree in Wildlife Management. She has spent most of her life on the back of a horse, and likes to consider herself a true cowgirl. She spent her middle and high school years as an active 4-H member, and hopes to get into 4-H as a leader as soon as her year slows down! Shelby enjoys fourwheeling, welding, shooting, and, of course, riding horses, in her spare time. She is proud to represent southern New Mexico as the rodeo queen, and hopes to move on to competing for Miss Rodeo New Mexico in the future.
